Places, peers, and the one that rides every page.

The current rail flattens three different kinds of thing into identical orbs. Command Center is a place. The five specialists are peers. The COO is a layer. Three ways to make the UI say that.

OPTION 1

Three-tier rail. COO becomes the FAB.

Command Center is a dash block at the top of the rail (the sidebar-logo position, so "front door" reads for free). Specialists are the orb array. The COO leaves the rail and fuses with the chat FAB: one breathing orb, docked on every screen.

Honest hierarchy

Place on top, team in the middle, the actor floating above all of it. The b03 narration sentence becomes visible structure.

Smallest mental shift

Rail stays a rail. The FAB already exists; it just inherits the COO's identity and glow.

COO cockpit needs a home

Routing and escalation views move behind the FAB (expand to full page), or stay reachable from Command Center.

OPTION 2

COO as the command strip.

Same rail as Option 1, but the COO is a slim persistent strip instead of a FAB: orb avatar plus a ghost input. Places live in the rail, the actor lives in the strip. Reads instantly because it is a search-bar pattern.

Zero discovery cost

An input bar with a name on it. Execs type into it the first time they see it; no one ever asks what the FAB does.

Demo gold

The cursor can point at the strip on any screen: "the COO rides every page" needs no narration at all.

Costs 46px of canvas

Permanent vertical real estate on dense views. Could auto-collapse to the orb alone on scroll.

OPTION 3

The constellation. Command Center wears the logo.

The Command Center hosts the nav itself: five specialist orbs orbiting a bright COO core. This is literally the LeedAB orb mark, so the logo becomes the org chart. Shown here as the CC hero with click-through; the Option 1 rail stays for fast switching.

The logo is the org chart

Five loops around a bright core: the brand mark, the nav, and the architecture become one picture. Unbeatable demo opener.

Status at a glance

Each orb can carry its agent's live state: red halo on an escalated risk, amber on an over-allocation. The constellation becomes the briefing.

Not the everyday nav

Hiding specialists behind the front door costs a hop. Keep the rail; the constellation is the hero, not the only door.

Recommendation: 1 + 2 combined, with 3 as the Command Center hero. Goes to Muiez with the take-8 video. · LeedAB internal · 2026-06-12
